Inuyama Castle is Hirayama Castle built by Oda Nobunaga’s uncle, Nobunaga Oda.
Tenshi is the oldest existing in Japan and is designated as a national treasure.
The castles designated as National Treasures are Himeji Castle, Hikone Castle, Inuyama Castle, Matsumoto Castle, Matsue Castle.
Inuyama castle can be visited from 9 o’clock to 17 o’clock every day except year end and new year.
To go to Inuyama Castle, exit the Meitetsu Inuyama Line “Inuyama Gakuen Station” west entrance and arrive in 15 minutes on foot.
